synopsis

Jaya is a hard of hearing teenager who lives with her father and sister. On the eve of her sister’s sangeet, she learns that her hearing is deteriorating fast. Forced to reckon with this fate, she refuses any help and retreats each time her hearing aids malfunction. At the sangeet, she is transported by the beauty and vibrations of Kathak dance, ultimately finding peace in her new reality – silence.​
